Bio in a nutshell: A creative person who needed a niche, and painting was it. She entered and won a painting contest at age 6, took lots of summer painting classes as a kid, and comes from a family tree with many creative branches. She prefers textiles to painting, and is influenced by textures, reds, and repetition.

Inspiration for this piece: colors of some Tunisian pottery.
